My Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen, we are honouring a man who has welcomed literally thousands of guests of honour at a myriad of functions throughout his long and distinguished career as "one of the world's leading Toastmasters". In doing so he has rubbed shoulders with Royalty, Heads of State and stars from every facet of 'the business'.

Bryn Williams became Water Rat number 641 on 8th January 1967. He was proposed by Harry Morris (of Morris & Cowley) and seconded by Past King Rat Johnnie Riscoe. In 2002 Bryn presided over his fortieth consecutive Water Rats Ball and, as usual did a magnificent job. We decided it was time to make him the centre of attention.

Bryn has always given his services free of charge and, in so doing, has helped us swell the coffers of our Charities Fund. We, his Brother Rats, are proud to have this opportunity to say "thank-you" for a lifetime of service to our Grand Old Order and for being a great Toastmaster, a nice guy and an excellent Water Rat.
