The Water Rats Boat Trip has been a regular occurance throughout our history with well documented accounts appearing in various periodicals and manuscripts. In 1989 we celebrated our hundredth birthday with a cruise along the river and a splendid luncheon at the Magpie in Sunbury on Thames. King Rat Roy Hudd oversaw the festivities and many of the ensemble dressed in old time costume. As an annual event the modern day 'cruises' were organised by Rat Peter Regan.
When Peter passed on Past King Rat Davy Kaye took on the task for several years and now his son, Past Prince Kaplan Kaye does a brilliant job in keeping up this wonderful tradition.
