Friday 30th September 2005 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Another of our very special functions - this time honouring Past King Rat Danny La Rue OBE. A host of celebrities enjoyed a great meal - excellent stories and a turn by the man himself.

The event was organised by Past King Keith Simmons and sponsored by Companion Water Rat John Ratcliff CBE, Paul Elliott, Nick Thomas, Lady Joyce Pontin, John Lloyd, The Dorothy Squires Fan Club, R. Brown, Peter Calvert, V. Burgess, Gerry George, Presh Taylor, John Anderson and B. Cole.

'Friend of the Water Rats' Ian McCreadie produced and supplied excellent Place Mats and our Poet Laureate - Peter Goodwright - wrote a poem about Danny.
