This was a very special year for our order - the first time the son of a Past King Rat was also crowned King. Kaplan Kaye, son of Past King Rat Davy Kaye MBE, became the head of the Grand Order of Water Rats and continued in the tradition of overseeing many fund raising events. Two shows at Water Rat Vincent Hayes excellent Brick Lane Music Hall, another Stevenage show produced by Water Rat Jack Mayes and a very special tribute evening to our longest serving Rat, Past King Rat Alf Pearson - were just some of a function filled year.

Water Rats celebrate Past King Rat Alf Pearson's 97th Birthday on 19th February 2006.

Another highly successful lunch by Encore Magazine took place on 10 May 2006 and was supported by many Water Rats some of whom appeared in the cabaret.
